Cat on the table in a scene of Charlie Wilson's War?
I watched "Charlie Wilson's War" for the first time last night, and one scene struck me funny. There is a scene where Charlie Wilson is sitting at his office desk and there is a large, orange tabby cat lying down on one corner of the desk. One of his assistants comes in and stands next to the desk and cat. In the very next scene, a second assistant comes into the office, but the cat is GONE and is never seen again in the film. What happened here?
that is a "mishap" in a movie. i'm sure there's a technical term for it but i can't remmeber it right now.
basically it's a detail the director did not pay attention to during the "montage" or final edit before releasing the movie.
there was probably other scenes with that cat originally but they vut it from the movie for tiem reasons.
you know a when a movie is shot, it is much longer than what you see ina dvd or at the theater but they edit it for length and budget reasons and because what they will cut out will mot affect the story.
